3D sculpted mashup of different insects using Zbrush. The assignment was to create a large insect creature with the following specs:
- 25000 triangles maximum, 20000 minimum
- One set of 2048 x 2048 PBR textures to be exported to Maya (Unreal was optional)
I sculpted the high poly model using Zbrush, then I brought it into Maya for mesh retopo & UV's , and lastly I exported both the high and low resolution meshes to Substance Painter for texturing. The insect eye texture was created using Substance Designer.
